Susan Farrell is an artist living on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Australia with her husband and menagerie of animals including her favourite subject her Rainbow Lorikeet Archie.

Susan studied Graphic Art at Swinburne, Melbourne and her artwork can be found in private collections all over Australia and USA. Susan now specialises in Acrylics. She is well known for her use of colour and texture. Her backgrounds are mainly abstract with real life subjects. Her love of animals and birds is apparent in all her paintings. Her subjects are realistic but possess a special quality that enables the viewer to discover the magic within and be taken on their own journey of imagination!

Susan also has interests as a writer, gardener and has won several national awards for her earlier customer machine quilting. Susan teaches classes in Mornington and one and two day workshops in various locations throughout the year. Fellow artists and beginners are welcome.
