Born in 1984 on the South Coast of New South Wales (NSW), Australia, Amy Edwards was always going to be an artist. Few days of childhood passed without a pencil in her hand – an obsession which followed her into adulthood. Over the years, Amy has enjoyed branching out into new mediums, and exploring an ever-growing range of creative pursuits.

Since her first exhibition in 1996 at the age of 12, her artwork has found its way into numerous exhibitions, homes and publications worldwide.

Amy still lives in Wollongong, NSW and when she’s not painting she enjoys spending time with her musician husband, collecting driftwood, shells, feathers and bones, and caring for an ever-changing zoo of animals that seem to invite themselves into her home, most notable of which is a very strange and spoilt cat.

Amy believes one of the most important things in life to be laughter, especially laughter at oneself, and is constantly grateful for the supportive individuals in her life who surround her with laughter and love.
