Carla Morrow
Carla Morrow is a fantasy artist specializing in dragons and creatures from myth and legend. Using pencil and watercolor, she creates the images and worlds that exist in her mind, bringing them to the light so that others may share and enjoy the dragons and other creatures she sees. She has been drawing and coloring for as long as she can remember and has always been interested in the worlds and creatures that occupy the fantasy realms.
Carla developed her artistry by seeking out mentors rather than engaging in a school environment. She moved from acrylic painting and marker work to watercolor in 2005. Carla began to see and channel dragons early in her art career. They haven’t left her alone since and often keep her up later than she should be.
Carla currently resides in the cool mountains of southern New Mexico with her infinitely patient husband and two rescue mutts, Hopper and Libby. She travels for art shows, renaissance fairs and comic cons. When not painting, she is usually reading fantasy novels, researching, or collecting crystals.
